Building Manager – Central London – £47,000 - £50,000

We are delighted to be working with a top tier, real estate company who have an exciting opportunity for a Building Manager to manage a newly built asset in Central London. As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the property that stands at over 100,000sqft, and is home to a household name.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for health & safety procedures and statutory compliance for the property
• Production and management of the service charge budget
• Management of on-site service partners, both hard and soft services
• Close liaison with the client, and colleagues from the on-site building management team
• Overseeing any fit-out projects, and close liaison with the tenant
• Rolling out ESG initiatives for the property, whilst liaising with the internal energy & sustainability teams

This is a unique chance to manage a building that’s still in its infancy stages and where you will have the opportunity to shape the management of this building into your own style. Furthermore, there is a strong possibility that this role can develop, meaning you could easily be promoted further down the line.

We are keen to speak with candidates that has previously worked as a Building Manager, managing a sizeable asset or multi-site Facilities Managers who are keen to secure a role managing a singular property. You will need to have strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance, and if you hold an IOSH or NEBOSH certificate, this may put you at an advantage. In addition, you will have ideally set service charge budgets previously, and be up to date with modern building technology.
