Our client are a leading Multi-Disciplinary Building Consultancy with a reputable name in Health, Safety, Quality and Compliance, Engineering, Energy and Building Consultancy. They have massive reach into various markets, depth if expertise across multiple subject matters and a fantastic culture which promotes fairness, inclusivity and excellence.
Having delivered record results this year, they are seeking to recruit a Business Development Director for their Health, Safety, Quality and Fire Consultancy business, as part of an ambitious growth plan.
As the Business Development Director, you'll help develop opportunities with new and existing clientele, as well as internally through cross selling and networking within the group. Targeting Health, Safety, Compliance and Fire Consultancy services, you'll have a national remit but with a primary focus on the private sector. Although you won’t be responsible for delivery as you'll be supported by specialist H&S, Compliance and Fire Consultants who deliver the work, you'll still need a good level of technical knowledge to consult and develop solutions for clients.
Consultancy services delivered by the team include:
• FRA (including type 1-4)
• Fire Consultancy (Strategy, Advisory work, EWS1, Ad-hoc)
• Fire Compartmentation
• Fire Door Surveys
• Safety Audits
• Glazing Surveys
• Principal Designer / CDM Advisory
• Equality Access Audits (formerly DDA)
• Legionella risk assessments
• DSEAR AssessmentsThe ideal candidate will have demonstrable business to business sales experience, as well experience selling compliance, fire and health & safety services/solutions. As mentioned previously you should have a solid technical understanding, and the ability to deliver detailed solutions and bids. A home based role, you can within reason work from anywhere within England, but there will be lots of travel to meet clients so easy access to good communication routes is a must.
This a senior role and the ideal candidate will receive a basic of up to £80,000, car allowance, significant commission, and various flexible benefits.
