The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) is the UK's largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London. The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biological sciences, and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.The RVC is ranked as the top veterinary school in the world in line with the QS World University Rankings by subject, 2021.
The College is now seeking to recruit a Head of Campus Services (Head of Soft Services), who will undertake a strategic and key management role responsible for delivering Soft FM across the RVC’s two main Campuses, the Hawkshead Campus in Hertfordshire (where the role is based) and Camden Campuses. Services managed will include cleaning, porterage services, post room, sports and wellbeing centre, security, catering and accommodation via a combination of 3rd party suppliers and in-house teams.
We are seeking individuals with significant experience of managing soft services across a range of building types, who are able to lead, manage, and develop in house teams and 3rd party suppliers to deliver best in class and cost-effective Facilities Services. You should have demonstratable experience managing and developing teams, procuring and performance managing 3rd party suppliers, excellent health and safety knowledge and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
