Description

Coventry University Enterprises Ltd, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coventry University Group, and runs much of the Group’s commercial, income-generating and business-partnership work. It operates and manages Estate Services, delivering an ambitious Estates Strategy for the Group to include a large capital projects and repair/pre-planned maintenance programme. The University owns 144 properties predominantly in Coventry, with additional sites in London, Warsaw, Africa and India.

The Head of Estates - Property Development, will be responsible for leading a multi disciplinary team of Project Managers, Surveyors and Space Planners delivering a wide range of projects across the group to include major capital projects, projects being delivered for the group by developers using lease or other arrangements, and repair and pre-planned maintenance programmes. The Head of Estates Property Development will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for ensuring that the Project Management team successfully deliver the assembly, procurement, and implementation of Projects and Initiatives (of varying size, quantum and complexity) across the Group, focussing on providing a high quality, value for money service tailored to the needs of customers.

We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in leading the delivery of large and complex new buildings programmes, projects and initiatives from inception to completion, handover and defects clearance. Small spend to multimillion pound spectrum of experience is required. Experience of leading teams, the procurement and management of contractors and excellent client and stakeholder management skills are also prerequisites for this role.
