Health & Safety Manager
Central London
£47,000 - £52,000
We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join the estates management team based on an iconic, mixed-use development in Central London which consists of high-end commercial, retail, and residential properties plus public realm areas that attract high numbers of footfall.
Our client is a leading property management company who manage some of the UK's highly prestigious assets and boast an impressive track record in the development of their employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing health & safety procedures and policies for the estate
- Work closely with your client and tenants with regards to their health & safety and environmental initiatives
- Coordinating with contractors to ensure health & safety / compliance is to a high standard.
- Working closely with the Facilities Managers to ensure the compliance is up to date within their allocated properties.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks.
- Investigating and reporting incidents and corrective actions where necessary
- Work with various on-site teams regarding ensuring the smooth H&S operations for events, and public events.
As the Health & Safety Lead, you will hold a relevant health & safety qualification and hold several years of experience working within a similar role, preferably managing the health & safety for commercial or retail properties. You will hold excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation within a facilities management environment and possess strong communication skills as you will be expected to liaise closely with your client. Furthermore, you will hold a NEBOSH certificate as a minimum.
