HSQE Manager, Worcester, £35,000 plus car allowance + benefits
Our client, a leading Facilities Management Services Provider are seeking a HSQE Manager based in the West Midlands. The post holder will support and maintain Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Compliance across a small portfolio of buildings that consist of offices, Warehouses and light Manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Ensure that HSQE Systems meet the requirements of applicable legal requirements, ISO Standards and other standards as necessary.
Support the development and delivery of continuous improvement strategies.
Assist in the development and updating of HSQE documents such as polices, processes, procedures, risk assessments, COSHH Assessments etc.
Conduct internal audits, assessments, and inspections to monitor the effectiveness of the HSQE management system and identify opportunities for improvement.
Support external audits as necessary to maintain ISO certifications and other accreditations.
Conduct thorough incident investigations to determine root causes and identify corrective and preventative measures.
Support the development and delivery of Health and Safety related training courses (internally and externally).
Provide effective HSQE advice and guidance to colleagues as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience.
Experience delivering HSQE advice within a Facilities Management/Workplace environment.
Experience of implementing and monitoring a HSQE management systems.
Understanding of HSQE ISO standards.
Working with senior managers, contractors and other key personnel.
Undertaking face to face Health and Safety training.
Excellent communication skills.
