- Description
We are now seeking a Technical Services Director, to join the Client Side Estates Management team on a large Mixed Use Estate in Central London consisting of Commercial Office Space, Prime/Super Prime Residential and Retail. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Fabric and IT Infrastructure Services through the effective management and partnership with, Managing Agent, Maintenance Service Provider, and Specialist Contractor partners. A client and customer facing position you will play a key part in ensuring occupiers and visitors receive a world class customer service, whilst protecting and enhancing the landlord’s assets through the implementation and maintenance of effective management systems and procedures.
Duties will include:
Overseeing the delivery of all mechanical & electrical technical services operations and lifecycle across the Estate working with Managing Agent, FM provider and Specialist Contractors.
Providing Onboarding and Day to Day Technical Support, to Occupiers, Residents and Retail Partners.
Play a key role leading the development, implementation and management of Environmental and Energy Conservation Programmes to meet with company ESG targets.
Budget Management and Financial Reporting.
Asset Management of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, BMS Lift, Escalators, and I.T infrastructure.
Ensuring assets are effectively handed over to operations from projects/soft landings.
Supporting future development projects.
Potential candidates should have the following skills and experience:
Candidates should have a strong background managing Technical Services at a senior level, ideally across a large property portfolio, backed up with a strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, asset management, and energy & sustainability. Your exposure to certain building types isn’t necessarily important but you should have demonstrable experience working in a client/customer facing role where the client’s experience is paramount.
